There is so much information floating around the internet, so it’s difficult to know, but here is some information that may interest you. The use of CBD and cannabis derived products has been steadily and rapidly increasing in the last decade. But remember never give your pup CBD without first chatting with your veterinarian.
What is CBD Oil?
CBD or cannabidiol, is a compound found in cannabis and hemp plants. There is full spectrum extract which has 3% THC or less and the broad spectrum and isolate which contain 0-THC (which is the psychoactive compound in marijuana) Most CBD products are made from the hemp plant and not from marijuana.

Typical suggested starting dose for dogs and cats:
Cats: 1 – 5mg
1 mg – 5 mg per 10 lbs. of bodyweight

- Give your dog some exercise like a long walk or playtime to tire them out.
- Give them the first dose of CBD oil.
- Wait about 4 hours and give them another dose of CBD oil.
- Close all doors, windows, and curtains to help muffle the sound.
